Terms of Service.

Please read these terms before using NICPrep.

01Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of and purchases from NICPrep, an exam preparation product operated by PassAllPrep LLC ("PassAllPrep," "we," "us," or "our") at nicprep.com. NICPrep is one of several exam prep platforms operated by PassAllPrep LLC. By accessing or purchasing any NICPrep product, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

02About Our Products

NICPrep provides independent, scenario-based exam preparation materials for NIC written exams across multiple modalities, currently including Cosmetology, Nail Technology, Esthetics, Barber Styling, Hair Design, Electrology, and Permanent Cosmetics. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the NIC, any state licensing board, Milady, or Pivot Point.

03Access and Payment

Upon completing a purchase, you will receive access via the email address provided at checkout. Access is non-transferable and granted for personal, non-commercial use only. All purchases are one-time payments with unlimited access — no subscriptions, no expiration.

04Refund Policy

NICPrep offers two layers of refund protection on all purchases:

The short version

Within 14 days of purchase: full refund for any reason. No conditions, no questions.

Through day 60: full refund if you completed all 10 practice tests, logged 20+ hours on the platform, sat for the NIC exam, and didn't pass — with your score report attached.

Outside those windows or conditions: not eligible.

14-Day Unconditional Refund

Within 14 days of your purchase date, you may request a full refund for any reason. No proof of usage, completion, or exam attempt is required. Email hello@nicprep.com from the address used at checkout to initiate the refund. Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 7 business days of approval.

60-Day Pass Guarantee

Through day 60 from your purchase date, you may request a full refund if all of the following conditions are met:

You completed all 10 practice tests in the modality you purchased;
You logged at least 20 hours of practice on the NICPrep platform under the account associated with your purchase;
You sat for the corresponding NIC written exam and did not pass; and
You provide your NIC exam result (score report or official notification) when requesting the refund.

To initiate a 60-day pass guarantee refund, email hello@nicprep.com with your NIC exam result attached. We verify platform engagement against your account record. Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 7 business days of verification.

Refunds Not Available

Refund requests submitted after day 60, requests that do not meet the 60-day guarantee conditions above, and requests submitted more than 14 days after purchase from candidates who have not yet sat for or have already passed the NIC exam are not eligible for refund. Technical issues preventing platform access are addressed separately and do not require a refund — contact hello@nicprep.com and we will resolve the access issue.

Pass Rate Disclosure

NICPrep is designed to support a 95% pass rate for candidates who complete all 10 practice tests with at least 20 hours of practice on the platform. This figure is a design target, not a measured outcome, and individual results vary with study habits, prior experience, and state-specific exam conditions.

05Intellectual Property

All NICPrep content — questions, explanations, flashcards, design, and platform code — is the intellectual property of PassAllPrep LLC and is protected by copyright. You may not copy, redistribute, or create derivative works without written permission from PassAllPrep LLC.

06Disclaimer of Warranties

Products are provided "as is." We do not guarantee that use of our materials will result in passing any exam — passing an exam depends on factors outside our control, including individual study, prior knowledge, and state-specific testing conditions. The 60-day pass guarantee in Section 4 is a refund commitment for candidates who meet the stated conditions and do not pass; it is not a guarantee of exam outcome. Exam content and specifications may change — verify current requirements with your state board.

07Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PassAllPrep LLC shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of NICPrep products.
